At 17 he helped write a Gamilaroi school language program. At 23 he led the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander float in the Sydney Mardi Gras. At 25 he quit his public service job to protest the Northern Territory intervention. Today he runs The Blak Project Instagram page with 5000 followers.
